Smoked Salmon Canapes



Summa Salt Product: Lemon Salt

Serving Size: 6


Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of Summa Salt Lemon Herb Salt

  • 12 slices of smoked salmon

  • 12  crackers (such as water crackers or whole-grain crackers)

  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped

  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained

  • 1 bundle of diced chives

  • Fresh dill sprigs for garnish

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, lemon juice, lemon zest, and finely chopped dill.

  • Mix until smooth and creamy.

  • Season with Summa Salt’s Lemon Salt and pepper.

  1. Assemble the Canapés:

  • Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each cracker.

  • Top with a folded slice of smoked salmon.

  • Place a few capers on top of the salmon.

  • Add a piece of green onion to each canapé.

  1. Garnish and Serve:

  • Garnish each canapé with a small sprig of fresh dill.

  • Arrange the canapés on a serving platter.



Keep cool and immediately.
